Westbrook is a small school, but with big traditions, sound values and incredible community involvement. The work we do includes a significant focus on supporting students’ literacy and numeracy development, including individual and small group targeted support from passionate and extremely knowledgeable teachers. Through our positive behaviour matrix, we focus on three priority areas in all that we do:
- Kindness: using school-friendly language, being considerate and honouring everyone and their ideas
- Respect: keeping hands, feet and body to oneself, using materials and property appropriately, and taking care of our environment
- Responsibility: moving safely, being an active listener, and being prepared
